THE LUNAR EFFECT

A 2-hour stage play, The Lunar Effect is Reality Bites for the Tinder generation, filmed on the set of 2001: A Space Odyssey.

The sci-fi sex comedy follows four Millennials as they search for love in the absurd surroundings of a Mars settlement simulation pod.

Originally written as a feature screenplay and later adapted for the stage, the show premiered at The Old Fitz Theatre in Sydney’s CBD, and starred Ad Nauseam stars Andrew Johnston and James McFay, as well as Jane Mahady, Teresa Jakovich and the voice of the late, great Troy Planet.
